Drainage Creek

This was near a storm drain that was about 10 feet from the Milwaukee River. The sounds are, from right to left, the water's journey from the mouth of the drainage pipe to the river.

Cave Diving

This is a partially collapsed breakwater on Lake Michigan. The 5' x 2' x 2' area was almost entirely enclosed in concrete with the exception of water coming in through the exposed southern side.

Snake Bite

This is a small snake, about 9 inches, that was found by the Milwaukee River. The rustling of leaves is actually the snake snapping at the windscreen on the microphone before slithering away.

Road Trip

This is the engine of a car and the cabin of a car while it is running. The windows were rolled up as much as possible while still allowing the cable to run out of the car and into the engine bay.

Firewater

This is a close miking of a gas stove and a water faucet. The click is the stove shutting down and it being reset. The two are approximately 4 feet apart and the microphones are each within 4 inches of their subject.
